Do you want to trim the visuals in your video? Here's how to go about it.
Visuals (background videos) play from the beginning by default when the scene begins. You may want a specific portion of the video visual to play instead. To achieve this, you may use the 'Trim Video' feature which is located right under the scene. Please note this option is only for visuals that are in video format.
On the storyboard, begin by clicking on 'Trim Video' icon as seen in the screenshot below.
Drag along the slider to trim the visual to your desired portion of the video.
As you drag along the slider, the duration will change to indicate the length of the trimmed visual.
You can click the play button to watch the trimmed visual. If you are satisfied with it, then click the checkmark circled in the screenshot.
On clicking the checkmark, you will be asked if you want to update the scene duration to the length of the trimmed visual. IF you want to do this, click 'Yes'. If you do want to maintain your original scene duration click 'No'.
And that's how you trim your video.
Please note that you are only trimming the visual on that scene and not deleting the trimmed out portion of the visuals. So you can always add any portion of the visual you had originally trimmed out. Just click on the trim icon again and follow the steps above to get started.
