How to control how much text will appear in each video scene?

To control the text that will appear in each scene, we have 3 options:
  1. Create a new scene by using a period (.)    OR
  2. Create a new scene by hitting ENTER     OR
  3. Create a new scene on hitting Enter and a period (.)
